Terror in the Skies

A Walk with Vertigo

Nearly 40% of all Americans have gone to the doctor at least once for vertigo. Its not just an American problem, though. People from all over the world suffer from vertigo. This documentary series will cover the stories of individuals who have suffered with vertigo and discus their journey, diagnosis, challenges, treatments, and why their needs to be more education and awareness regarding vertigo and its life threatening affects. Often times vertigo is only a symptom to much bigger health issues and also is often misdiagnosed as something else or even a psychological issue. We’ll begin with my story, “Terror in the Skies: A Walk with Vertigo” **WARNING: If you have VERTIGO, you may be affected when watching this video. Proceed with CAUTION.

My Story…Your Story…

I had my first experience with Vertigo when I was pregnant back in 1990. I knew my mother had motion sickness a few times when I was growing up. So I was familiar with what it was but not really at all how it worked. I didn’t know that was the beginning of a 32 year journey with Vertigo, that I had no way of knowing would change my life. When I first considered doing this documentary, it was after a near death experience at the end of 2021 when I knew I had to tell my story and find others who experienced similar or some type of experience. One late night in February 2022, I had a dream and the title of this documentary came to me as well as a vision.
